Hello may

Happy new month beautiful souls. I don’t know about you but I feel like 2018 is running really fast, not like I’m complaining though. I started this happy new month blog posts in February but I couldn’t stick to it. Laziness is the culprit. Well, I’m here again!

🔴 Book Reviews

I recently got gingered (last month) to start reading books again and in my last post, I promised you guys a book review. Prior to this, my reading life has just been… non-existent. I have a special skill in hoarding books – spending minutes downloading books but I don’t get past a few chapters, I just drop it too lazy to go on. Next thing, I’m reading another new book knowing fully well I haven’t finished the previous. Well, like I said before the fire has been reignited and yess, get ready for a lot of reviews lovely readers!

🔴 Blogging

This month makes it officially 6 months since I started blogging. 6 months ago, I got into blogging after spending months reading articles – DIY, Inspirational, self help, personal development – found in blog land. Then I said to myself, “self, you can do this too” and so it began. 6 months of consistency battling with writer’s block, coming up with amazing contents and a 100+ followers later, I’m here. My blogging journey so far has been nothing short of amazing. I’m happy for every step – no matter how small – I’ve taken to move this blog forward and I’m grateful for how far I’ve gotten.

Even though the blog is not where I envisioned it to be yet but thank God I’m not where I used to be. So, I’m grateful to God for progress! My text widget was unedited for 4months and I didn’t know because I thought that was part of the theme design-ish. At least, the blog isn’t looking as sloppy and unprofessional as it was 6 months ago😁

🔴 Life Update – Service Year. This month also makes it 6 months since I embarked on the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kwara State, Nigeria. I’ll save you the epistle. So far, so good I’m here, alive and well. Thank God for his unfailing grace and mercies. Anyways, I have 6months to go and fam, I’m really excited, I can’t wait!

May is going to be a blessed month just like other months, I know that for sure. And from the Bible, I understand that: “the path of the just is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day”.

So, in other words, as the redeemed of the Lord, I’m not permitted to have a better yesterday. For the rest of my life, all my days shall be brighter and more fulfilling than the previous. And heygirl, the same goes for you, if you believe.

Have a blessed and fruitful month lovely readers and don’t forget to stop by the blog to read, learn a thing or two and share your thoughts with me! They mean a lot 💕 My blog signature
