How To Make 2018 the Year You Level Up Your Life

Season greetings!!! πŸŽ‡πŸŽ‰πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŽˆ (click on the picture below 😁😁)

Yeah it’s that time of the year again.

Some days back, I was just sitting and thinking, about everything I said I would do in 2017 and I didn’t end up doingπŸ˜’

Yes, because well when I got to half of my 2017 new year plans, I gave up. Why? Let’s just say lifeπŸ˜’

So yeah, I don’t know what my 2018 is going to be like but I definitely don’t want a replay of 2017 where I got lost mid-way, all my goals started looking like a workload just because they were too many and maybe unrealistic (*rme).

I got inspired to write this and I’m publishing it for those out there still struggling with “new year resolutions”.

Long, but helpfulπŸ˜‰ trusttt

I want 2018 to be that year we actually accomplish most if not all our goals. So, this can be (in other words) called new year resolutions. Yes?

No… πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜•

Please no more new year resolutionsπŸ˜ πŸ˜’

Yes, I think it is hollow because we end up writing a list of things we don’t end up doing. And at the end of the year, we look back and say “ohh well shit, till next year”.

I want 2018 to be that year we (including me) actually accomplish our goals😣

So, take out your jotter and map out how you want to level up your life in 2018😊

1. Take your God seriously.

Every great thing has a little beginning.

Every little beginning began with God as the author.

Be guided.

Be an active member of your church.

A woman who walks with God will never get lost in her journey.

2. Reset your priorities

What’s your priority numero uno?

3. Save more

4. Keep a journal

Keeping journal is not for kids, it feels good and also helps to be able to write down how you feel and maybe the events of each day.

“But I’m not a writer…” I know right? C’mon it’s your thoughts! The journal is like your little world. Everybody is a writer.

5. Don’t start a relationship if you are not in love.

Don’t jump into any relationship just cuz you feel it would be okay for you. Don’t fool yourself. It’s not a good idea.

You’re either in love or not.

6. Take the lead when you find yourself in a situation where everyone is confused and looks at each other, it’s fine for you to lead.

Remember! You’re a leader when you decide to become one.

7. Learn to say no, but politely (very important).

8. Build healthier routines and habits.

  • Eating well
  • Yoga
  • Writing
  • Meditating
  • Waking up earlier (like 5a.m early, it increases your level of productivity!)

9. Invest more in personal development

  • Take that online course /program in that area of personal development you are interested in.
  • Have personal coaches (if you can). Direct coaching produces better results.
  • Learn a foreign language.
  • Sharper your skills in writing.

10. Enjoy your journey

Take things as they come. Live freely. Don’t try to figure it all out. Every person operates differently.

11. Never expect too much from people! The end of this quote says, “… You’ll only get disappointed”.

This is another clichΓ©, I like clichΓ©s because they’re true. Everyone says it but they don’t live it.

12. Stop waiting for motivation!

Stop waiting for some primal urge that shakes you off your arsenal and into action.

Whatever that means, I stole that from a book I was reading lastweekπŸ‘€πŸ˜‚

Let’s be serious. It means, JUST TAKE ACTION!

2018 is going to be a big year for usπŸ™πŸ™Œ

Stop waiting for the motivation to get started…

Just do it

That thing you’ve always said you would do. That thing you’ve always squealed and yapped to your bestie aboutπŸ˜’ That thing that keeps you wide awake at night, that has you tossing on all sides of the bed.

Write a book, go for that interview, man up and ask that girl out😁, make music..

Anything…. Just stop being afraid.

Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it! Just dooooooo ittttttttt

You’ll feel good about yourself πŸ‘ΌπŸ’ͺ

You don’t have to wait till it’s January 1st to start,

I’d love to hear from you: what is the ONE quest you are going to work on?
