Great Things Take Time.

Empires aren’t built in a day.
Everything takes time and effort, the only thing that doesn’t take time and effort is being a loser.

Michael Altshuler says: The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.

Far too often, we want things so badly and quickly, but we’re not willing to wait and work for it. We forget that this is not some fairytale where we can snap our fingers and have our wishes come true.

Great things take time

So why? Why are we so impatient? Why are we impatient with the process and most of all, impatient with ourselves?

If we don’t see the immediate results to all the time, energy and effort we expend, we give up, lose hope and end up criticizing ourselves and think we’re incompetent.

The world would be a better place if we were all more patient

Kermit says,

“Identify your goal and your intentions.

Determine how much time you can and should realistically devote to achieve said goal.

This is a challenge you’ve set for yourself, so when you’re feeling anxious and impatient (which you will), return to your intentions and recall why you’re working to accomplish your dream.

Also, remind yourself that Beyoncé wasn’t built in a day, and she’s pretty fabulous. Don’t you want to be as fabulous as Beyoncé? If so, give yourself the time and space to do just that! None of this is easy”.

Nothing good comes right away

Rolls-Royce Raleigh:

One statement that we hear often goes something like, “Whenever you get frustrated with yourself remember that it takes 13 hours to build a Toyota and six months to build a Rolls-Royce.”

This is just motivation to get you started.

If you want to achieve big goals and do significant things, it will take time. But it starts now.

You just need to have this “sticktoitiveness”. In a more defining term, commitment

I believe in the good things coming.

  5. “Beyoncé wasn’t built in a day.” 😂😂😂 That was pretty funny. But yeah, life is a process. Sometimes we want quick results, but as Zain Asher said in a TEDx talk, we must “trust the process.” While waiting for the big breaks, we mustn’t stop slaying in the smaller breaks. The process will be worth the wait in the end.

    Lovely post.
